    I've had a Gaggia Titanium for a few years. It's made about 5,000 cups so far. Great coffee.

    The only warning I'd give is since Gaggia got bought by Philips the standard of customer service is meant to have declined. eg There is now a minimum service charge of £100 if the machine needs looking at.

    My local shop now recommends Jura.

    Actually this looks to fit your budget and be a bit of a bargain.
