Excellent place, good food, nice people, not too expensive, garage to store bikes, satellite TV. Better than living at home.

Newly converted Welsh longhouse, Ty Nant – website: http://www.tynant.me.uk/index.htm is great place to stay. Sleeps up to 10 – with four bedrooms and four bathrooms no less. Just a stone’s throw from the Coed-y-Brenin, and very close to seaside resort of Barmouth and market town of Dolgellau. Not far from Dyfi Forest near Machynlleth aswell. Lots of pubs, cafes etc nearby. Or try Glyn-yr-aur (sleeps 6), high up in the hills and close to quieter trails and Dolfrwynog Tea Garden. Really nice owners and cheaper than most places around. Website is http://www.glyn-yr-aur.com. (Ty Nant is sister cottage of Glyn-yr-aur)
