Just wondering if anyone has had much experience of co2 cannisters misfiring/discharging completely before the tyre is inflated. Only ask as i’m looking to reduced the amount of kit i carry around with me. At the moment i carry both cannisters and a pump as a back up. Am i being over cautious.

Only once – I’d forgotten to close the valve before sticking a new canister of C02 onto the pump.

I use the little SKS one because it has it’s own on/off switch. Very handy for getting a little CO2 into the tube and checking it’s seated properly before letting rip.
