    that is a rubbish trail.

    and TBF, i’ve had much closer calls with trucks, buses and cars than that…. many of us have.

    yup, I regulalry get worse than that on my commute, especialy up one of the hills which is a relatively small A-road but links some of the big steelworks so you get lots of HGV’s with odd shaped bits of metal on the back gazing elbows.

    The tractor units over there are longer and the trailers are 50 feet long, the combination is about a quarter longer than UK trucks.

    We found they created a huge bow wave of air as they approached you from the opposite side of the road to almost stall your progress. Coming from behind, it felt like they’d rip your clothes off before sucking you under.

    Its the horn that gets you, so to speak. Doesn’t matter how big the car or truck, if they sound their horn just as they pass it scares the bejesus out of me.
