Recently switched to using my nukeproof light in my helmet. Nukeproof light I like. Giro xen I like too. Trouble
is the light wobbles - the helmet mount is a bit of a let down. Anyone else come up with a solution to this dilemma?
And no, I don't want to buy a new light or helmet.
Any cunning ideas gladly received...

It's defo the mount and not my head wobbling! It's ok if I don't ride on bobbly floors, mind...
I use one of those velcro straps that goes round a seat bag.
Push a loop through a vent where you want the torch to go, then bring
the other ends (one with a buckle)up the nearest vents each side
and lock over the torch body.
You could put bit's of rubber,foam or a small squirrel at either end to line it up,but I don't bother and it works fine.
Some kind of velcro strap tightened round and threaded through the vents on your lid?

Zip-ties are the answer to everything, but it'll help if you have a spare helmet for daylight riding.
Yeah, was toying with making extra dampeners out of old inner tube, but after extensive experimentation tonight I am opting to pilot a joint approach of tightening the bleeder as tight as a tight thing, and adding a couple of zip ties. Shall test this weds evening on some bobbly ground. Seemed to work ok in the bedroom tbh but I had to stop as I was scaring my wife. Again.

Well, I like to help...
I use a giro helmet which has a narrow bar to fix a light to. Doing it up tight then wedging a magnum lolly stick in the gap works for me
