A group of us from wok (Serco) are doing a cycle ride for charity this weekend and would like your support (cash) please. The route follows Hadrian’s Wall (NCN 72) in the border country from West to east coasts and then an added 50 miles from the east coast end south to finish at the Serco office in Stockton. The total mileage is 230, we plan to do this over 4 days.

Cleveland Search and Rescue Service is our chosen charity because last year, one of our cyclists got a bad leg injury after coming off her bike in Guisborough Woods. Due to the location of the incident the Cleveland Search and Rescue team were called and responded very quickly to this emergency rescue in a very calm, organised and caring manner that helped get her to hospital where she had 11 stitches to her leg. This event proved to us all how important such a service is, who don't get any public funding and have to buy all equipment, medical supplies and Land Rovers themselves.

If you wish to make a donation please follow the link to the web site – http://www.justgiving.com/Serco/

Big thanks to all the volunteers in the Search and Rescue Service.
