    how???

thought about a big bowl of hot water with some bleach in. but then thought of the plastic fasteners and adjusters…

FWIW its got (well, had) light gray or white (can’t remember) straps, so its not going to bother me if they fade…

currently they are a whole range of colours, with a light dusting of sweat salt 😳

Bathroom sink + warm water + clothing handwash powder. Give the straps a good scrub then rinse well and dry. Should be as good as new.

motorbike helmet cleaner spray. spray on, it foams up, wipe off. goodbye to head odour!

Have a bath, wash your helmet during that.

Soap and water but also periodic spray of febreeze or even shoe deoderizer works a treat on stinky lids!

I wash mine in warm water with a small amount of washing up liquid. Then rinse off with cold water, pop it in the airing cupboard to dry overnight – job done 🙂
