This classified forum is run charge free to registered members. To keep it free we encourage the occasional donation if you have done particularly well with a sale. Mark, sorry for posting it in here but don't want to start a new topic. Just an idea for a rule change to classified to make it easier for everyone. How about having it so the seller must name a price ONO. It's a rule in another well known forum and makes it so much easier for everyone.

I agree Stevie. Too many folk know what they want for their kit, but don't put a price on it on the off-chance that someone will offer more, if they offer less they simple refuse and ask for their valuation. There's a bike on the classifieds now that a bloke has been trying to sell for literally month's, yet he has never put a price on it.

I had a less than 'diamond' service from a seller on here recently that left me out of pocket so i suggested that they make a donation to stw so we will see.....

4 quid for STW thanks to withersea who's sending me some old brakes for the young uns bike and asked me only to make with the donation. good man himself!
