I'm looking for somewhere to leave the car for three days whilst off cycling.

Don't really want to leave the car in the street, does anyone know a local hotel / pub with a car park that we may be able to use ?

I maybe totally wrong, but I can't imagine ST being a hot bed of crime, unless some old lady throws her blue rinse over your windscreen.

Following a fuel-tank/ road bump interface, our campervan was parked in the street on the industrial estate for 3 days with no probs, last year.
Your car will be fine.
Try where we left ours – just by the station, the other side from the town.
