    Are we sitting comfortably?

Do we all know that the Winnie The Pooh Stories were set in the Ashdown Forest?

Do we all know that the Ashdown Forest Act of 1974 prohibits cycling on the forest?

    Then I shall begin…………….

The Sunday Telegraph, Seven Supplement of 27/09/09 featured Chapter One of a new Winnie The Pooh Sequel written by a David Benedictus.
In the story all the animals learn that Christopher Robin is returning to the Hundred Acre Wood and they invite him to a picnic.
Master Robin turns up……….. ON A BRIGHT BLUE BICYCLE. The illustration shows this scene in a classic Ashdown Forest landscape.

Then the last paragraph really labours the point about this bicycle, how there may be other bicycles in the wood but this was the finest, how there may be another story to be told about this bicycle!!!!!!

Do you think those fascist bastard Conservators and Wardens are going to arrest Christopher Robin?

Deliberate or not??……. all I can say is NICE ONE MR BENEDICTUS.
