As you lucky souls ride your bikes on this Christmas morning spare a thought for the STWers around the world who won’t be riding a bike this yuletide. Share your pics of Christmas rides so those of us who are grounded can have a moments escape.

    Happy Christmas

Mostly too damm hot, the fog dropped it to 19c which was better, then battled a head wind for the last 25km home

One of those ‘hard work but enjoyable afterwards’ kind of days for me, struggling to keep up and feeling the 50kms a bit but still good to get out.

    Merry Christmas…..

No pics, but a nice hour and quarter on singlespeeds around Hampshire lanes and trails.

Just a cheeky half hour blast but nice to get away from cooking and Xmas music.

Cranborne Chase this afternoon, including a very muddy descent of Winkelbury..

Snuck out for an hour and rode up Parbold Hill and Ashurst Beacon just before sunset.
Plenty of cars driving worryingly quick but didn’t see a single other cyclist, everyone else probably got out earlier.

Quick nip out on the MTB this morning to the cemetery, only about 6-7 miles in total but a mix of cheeky and pavements as I’d rather get a ticket for riding on the pavement than deal with motorists driving too fast.

I think I saw seven cars this morning – and all the drivers gave a cheery wave 🙂

I’m guessing it’ll have been busier later on mind.

No pics but very very quiet in the Forest Of Dean and very muddy they have new top section of the Launch pad nice and you can go anyway you like on the trails as no one is a around 😆

Rain. Lots of rain, and a strong remnants of storm Barbara, and the start of Connor, so pretty hard going.

Good to get out though, couple of hours and about 23 miles of mixed stuff.

Got out early for a lap of the red at the FOD, lovely and muddy!

Was meant to be going for an early morning ride today too but I’m at my parent’s house and forgot my shorts 🙁

I didn’t manage any photos as I left house in a decidedly halfarsed mood. I’ll just go along the riverbank to the village, I’ll just head up to Scolty, I’ll just try going this way for a change, oh the trails are really muddy and they’re harvesting timber on all the bits I usually go down, might as well head to the other end and see if I can find that Kill all Hippies Trail…

Only had a bottle of water with me, no tools, no spares, no food, no camera….

    I was out about three hours… 😀

I sneaked out for a 10-mile blast on my road bike yesterday morning, felt much better for it.
