A few months ago a customer gave me their old Brompton – it was a wreck, but the mainframe was solid, so I’ve repainted it and rebuilt it with new parts, and I’m now selling it for charity – every penny will go to Medicins Sans Frontiers.

It’s a complete pain to respray a Brompton – have to dismantle all the pivots then carefully reassemble afterwards. Usually around £250ish to do.
