Cards – what a waste of money.

    Same with wrapping paper.

Christmas is bad for the environment.

    We should scrap it.

I can’t help but think that parenthood and a new career direction have blunted your edge somewhat, Dave. 😉

At least you can stick the cards and paper in your blue bin nowadays and get them recycled (that’s assuming you have a blue bin in your area for recyclables).

I know what you mean about cards though. I was out choosing one for my wife from my children another one from me earlier today and they are just so damn expensive.

Alternatively you could make your own cards. My wife used to do this and my children also make cards for close family.

Anyone else noticed the shops are quite busy early morning then go quiet for the rest of the day,and lots of people dont seem to be buying anyrhing at the present time, very few bags around, and no queues at the tills.

oH and few shops playing carols or slade or wizard on a contiuous lop of christmas noises.

Student protests tomorrow and then snow. Hopefully a new government in the new year.
