I ventured into town today and it was Christmas already. The only thing they have held off with is the xmas music but Christmas was deferential there with all the trimmings. I am sure we have this sort of thread every year but for the love of all that is holy are we not going to have all this shite in December.?
Even the adverts on the telly would have you believe there is only a week left till the big day. There is six + weeks left till lift off.

No. This year we are having Christmas in November. In December we will be having the January sales. I know it all sounds a bit crazy but it’s designed so that people can do all their shopping before the new VAT increases kick in. And at the end of the day who cares when we do what ? BTW, I hope you managed to get all your Christmas cards in the post by the last post on Thursday.

A mate of mine put her tree up today.. mind you she has always put it up early.
The tree has been up in my local Tesco for a week too.
