Looking for a new skid lid that will be able to use for all riding looking at either the bell super 3 or the giro switchblade has anybody got any input

I’ve worn a Bell for a year now. I almost exclusively ride downhill or fiddle around on jumps, so use it with the chinbar on pretty much all the time. I take the whole helmet off to ride/walk up on fore roads or in uplift (obviously).

I’ve taken the chinbar off and used it for XC bimbling and it’s fine for that too. In reality I’m more likely to pick up an older XC helmet. It’s not that asking the chinbar off is difficult (it takes seconds and I do it regularly to wash the cheek padding) but I have a specific helmet that I’m more used to.

The Bell Must be quite well ventilated – I see a guy riding a road bike in one with chinbar attached most days.
