I know there's a huge thread on MTBR, but just wondered whether anyone on here has got any experience of them? They look pretty well finished, geometry doesn't look any different from the regular brands, And they're darn cheap. Any actual experiences of catastrophic failure (as opposed to presumed) appreciated. Anyone done all the research and worked out which is best?

Many branded carbon frames are chinese, ON ONE seem to doing well with them. Why not purchase a cointainer load and become a brand.

Fair point - isn't the little bit extra for an O-O worth it for warranty and support though?

Yes warranties are cool but you want to buy even cheaper than On One sell so something has to give.

I'd buy an on one if they bloody made one. Their expensive one is out of stock and the cheap one never happened. Anyone else? David, did you buy direct or via eBay?

I bought it directly from deng fu, fairly straight forward really. I dont know whether its cheaper to do that, or use ebay?

I bought direct from Dengfu, but used paypal which cost slightly more but gives a bit more protection. My frame appears identical in every way to a mk1 PX exocet.

The on ones are worth the extra i have seen both and the quality of the on one compared to most of the chinese ebay frame is alot higher.

Thread resurrection- has anyone tried the carbon forks- will I die if I tried one??

Pop, there are some very spangly dt ones in the classifieds at the mo which almost certainly won't kill you. Not much more than the price of the Chinese ones and proper classy.
