    Travelling for work and have one free day in Beijing. What to do? What to avoid? Survival tips?

    Early start and get to the Forbidden City, busy but worth it. Also the park behind it is nice. Great Leap brewing is good as well, there’s one in a Hutong area which has a great beer garden.

    You’ve got enough time to take a trip to the Great Wall, then get back in time for a trip around the forbidden city.
    I’ve done it, busy, but well worth it.
