    flue – twin wall stainless steel flue for creating a “chimney” from nowt
    flue liner – for lining an existing brick chimney

    2 grades of steel used in flue liners, the cheaper one iis fine for burning logs, the more expensive one , and twin walled ss flues are for burning wood, peat, and coal.

    Errr no to the above. I would not put a single skin type copex “flue” to use with a log burner.
    As a standard definition the flue is the void within the chimney.
    A liner then goes down this void to “line it”, creating a flue liner. This helps with “older” chimneys as it is an assured method of removing gases safely.
