Basically I think it is 2 days of mostly gravel on a set course with certain timed stages and a communal bivvy-out and evening meal in restaurant etc.

It’s down on the s.coast of France, near St. Tropez and Tolulon i.e. between Marseille and Nice. I know the area well from road cycling and at the time of year it is normally really good weather and not busy. Certainly nothing like March in the UK.

I plan to be there, leg recovery permitting. It would be good if any of you fancy it. It is the 1st year they have run it, but regularly do long distance road type events.
(For example the annual Born to Ride which is this year running form Strasbourg to Montpellier via. ‘a few countries and a few hills’)
