I’ve been enjoying some blues on the internet radio. If I were to want to sample some Chicago blues, where should I start?

Howling Wolf is a predicatble choice but superb.
Chess records have pretty good box set The Chess Story 1947 – 1975. Bit pricey to buy though.

    Albert King
    Freddie King
    Elmore James

There are some good compilations out there , I would try ” chicago blues masters ” .

Mud Morganfield, son of Muddy Waters, contemporary but still Chicago Blues. Keb Mo for a slightly lighter feel.
