Just 'cos the bikes 14 yrs old, mainly used for winter road training, took a change of tyres up home 3 weeks ago & haven't enjoyed off-roading as much since last summer.

Oh, & in the spirit of solidarity with Munque-Chick, here's Kit, of this parish, at Innerleithen…

One from a road trip of Welsh trail centres a couple of mates (pictured) and I did in 2006. Brings back good memories.

The thought of returning to the Alps this autumn always makes me smile. Here's a photo of the very tip of Mont Blanc as viewed from a clearing in the Sainte Foy forest.

Sorry about your loss. My wife's and my grandmother died on the same night back in January and my wifes business partner died last week so believe me i know how you feel 😐
