Not really up for paying for fancy bike branded stuff. What would you recommend?

Poundland do a “tyre black” that’s just a silicone spray. You guessed it, it’s a pound.

Fork Juice is only about £7 isn’t it? Lasts ages.

WD40 do one, halfords sell it in WD40 sized cans for about £5 but it’s probably in most hardware shops too.

Not really up for buying new forks after they got ruined by non bike branded, non fancy stuff.

A smear of 80 or 90 wt gear oil has served me well for years. A 500ml bottle will see me out …..

Yeah I hate it when my clothes get ruined by using non branded washing powder. I had to buy a whole new wardrobe when I used sainsburys own brand.

I’ve used fork juice, it works, I’ve recently been using Halfords silicone spray, it also works and is half the price.
