Hey, as above really. looking for a hostely backpackery (bike friendly) kind of place near the bike routes for this weekend. Any ideas?

SYHA hostels – we did it and its cheap as chips (£10-£14/night!)

Cross Keys hotel in Peebles. Friendly (biking) owner.

Peebles campsite. Brilliant place and loads of facilities. That is, if you don’t find getting wet and sleeping under canvas 😆

It is a right turn on a main road just before you get into Peebles, go Past a Tesco, and a car garage, then a left turn next to a Shell Garage, can’t ember the name mind.

The do a top breakfast and have bike storage and hose pipe you can use 🙂 From our window you could literally see little dots racing down the side of the Inners DH course.
