Could do with a cheap phone for riding and Strava. One that I can just slip the sim in the side rather than remove the back.

    What u say?

I’d say don’t use a phone for strava. Murders the battery and is inaccurate.

Get an Garmin Edge 200′ about £75 new.

I picked up an etrex for £85 in the Amazon sales for that very reason.

+ I only have a dumb phone at the moment but when I get a decent one I don’t want to trash it.

£50 for a bryton 20 here, it’s fantastic. As it’s always on the bars I never forget to ‘record’ unlike my phone.

Take a toll on the battery that means there is a good chance it will be useless when you need it.

Garmin 200 etc. is a great option for logging and GPS stuff then whatever phone you want.

A phone plus Strava app is much less fuss than a GPS and then uploading to a PC or laptop. Strava on my Motorola Razri uses very little battery.
Any modern Android phone with GPS will do the job.
