I mean really cheap, rigid, v-brake but not made of pig iron, to be stuck on the back of a motorhome, for riding to the shops/pub. The less it looks like a proper MTB the better, but not a racer, as the older gent who wants it isn’t that flexible anymore.

Yes we could search ebay, but I expect they’ve been stuck in damp shed and have rusted up, so was wondering if there was anything any one could recommend new.
Currently checking out the Hawk cycles stuff, as the factory shop is up the road.

dodgy knee’s from too many years of squash means that single speed might not be his first option, though great suggestions all the same.
TBH I really like the Vee-1, but the Rockrider 5.0 looks better than the Hawks cycles stuff. Cheers, I will despatch him up the m5 to decathlon. No doubt he can grab a rack and panniers at the same time.
