Long story > short. Working in a new place, I’ve come across someone who doesn’t have a laptop and could really do with one.

They’ve done some great work for me (yes, they’re employed but not on a great income and going through a hard time) and are what you would consider ‘one of the good ‘uns’, so I’d like to sort this out for them.

I can’t cough up £300 for something new, but I could go to, say, £80 ish (I’ve got my own costs!).

Sooooo….Does anyone have anything now unused, that doesn’t look like an ancient cast off (don’t want it to look like some crappy pity offering, if that makes sense) that they’d be happy to sell for slightly below true value for?
