    Need a cheap basic washing machine that'll last ages.

    Are Beko / Whirlpool cheap and nasty or fine?
    Hotpoint / Indesit seem the next step, and then Zanussi.
    Is it worth paying more for a 'brand' or is it likley to last longer.

    Our AEG machine has lasted 15 years trouble free, but has just died.
