As I have already had two weeks in the alps, I must appease the mrs and go on a relaxing holiday somewhere hot.

I however can only do one day sat by a pool, before I regress to a child and start causing mischief…

So looking to go somewhere, probably on a package deal, somewhere hot, but where there are lots of things to do, but mostly biking!

Ideas so far… Paphos in Cyprus… Any good biking there?
I know Malaga is good, by GF may be up to the standard of riding there.

What about any of the typical Med sun places? Anywhere good enough for a few days biking (with decent hire?)

Canaries? Biking on Lanzarote supposed to be excellent.

Port de Soller in Mallorca is a nice place and there are good trails (and good advice from Tramantura(sp?)) on your doorstep. I don’t know if it will be hot enough this time of the year though (or later).

Second the Canaries. All have good hiking and MTB.

Thomson Lakes and Mountains had some pretty good deals for Lake Garda. Get Tim to map out some trails for you or get a few days guiding.

Not sure if Lake Garda is warm or cultural enough…. :S
