Its just for a big pond on the seafront where we are going on holiday – won’t be used anywhere else so needs to be cheap. Does such a thing exist or is it asking too much?

I’ll take that as a ‘no’!

Ebay is full of them, they’ll either last 10 minutes like the one I got or years like the one my Bro got.

    What about one of these?

I have been thinking of something similar, if you get one please post up the result!

I got a Balaenoptera Musculus for my lad…c.£30 (I think)…went like the clappers, good fun while it lasted.

I’ve got one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Control-Doublehorse-RS7000-Stealth-Performance/dp/B00650MQRO/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

My son thinks it’s his but it’s not. It’s a lot of fun.

I got if when Maplin were doing it for £20 but that’s gone now. It’s only £25 at Tesco: http://www.tesco.com/direct/twin-propeller-ep-rc-toy-racing-boat/274-0585.prd

Went to Southport once, the kids cried and there was a chav with a six-pack tattoo on his belly. About summed it up for me…
