I need some 29er wheels for commuting purposes so I don’t have to fanny about swapping tyres around all the time, they need to be a 20mm front hub with a QR rear, the only ones I can find are superstar but I’ve heard some horror stories… I am not sure how much I want to spend but nothing more than £185 (superstar price) I don’t mind 2nd hand or new either.

Been using a superstar xcx29er wheel set for nearly a year now with no problems what so ever. I’d recommend them for the price (£130) I paid.

I’ve got a pair of very lightly used wheels off my new bike you can have for £80 plus postage (or cash on collection)

Formula hubs (20mm front, QR rear) on WTB 29er disc rims. Have done about 6 rides now, still like new.

I’m about to upgrade them to something more pimpy so if you want them, they’re yours.
