    I stupidly agreed to the above, and today stupidly agreed to hiring two tandems with some colleagues who are also going. The downsides, our tandems are mountain bike setups and the girl I'm paired with has never cycled more than 6 miles in a day or even seen a tandem before. And we're going to be dressed as a pantomime cow!!!

    We'll have 10 minutes practice before we're off. Is this really a bad idea?
