    Hey all
Want a short fast opinion here.
Do i go for a pre built Charge-Cooker-3-2015 (http://www.wiggle.co.uk/charge-cooker-3-2015) or build up an OnOne Inbred 29er (http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/FROO29VD/on-one-inbred-29er-vertical-dropout)?
I want to use it for general stuff, pulling trailers, expeditions, carrying daughter in child seat as well as riding trails.
I also want it as soon as i can…
    Any thoughts welcome..

    Inbred +1.

The XC32 forks will be OK as long as they’re 15mm axles, the XC30’s are noodley rubbish. On-One aren’t doing an inbred full build but they are doing a Parkwood for £799 which looks phenomenal value. Even the cassette is a 1030 cassette which has an aluminium spider to shed a lot of weight over deore versions. It’s pretty much the same build as my fatty and that’s lasting well and was all good enough kit for the task.

Really want a steel one – hence the two choices..
Could always upgrade the forks at a later stage too. So long as they do the job now i don’t really care. May main bike is a turner 5 spot with revelations so this is more of a muck about bike to build on over time…
    So bearing this in mind….

I’d look at the fire-eye on Chain Reaction too if you are short enough. Tapered steerer gives you more options long term.

If you are going to the inbred, which I love by the way, then consider the bundle they do as well – seeing as it is same price £199 – this includes bar, stem, headset, spacers, seatclamp, seat and seatpost:

What size are you after? I have an unused orange 19.5″ Inbred 29 frame. Bought but never built up, as I got a Fatty frame and nicked all the parts for that.

Having owned both I preferred the Cooker, just felt a bit more playable and suited me more. Nowt wrong with the inbred just preferred the Cooker.

I built up an inbred 29er ss a few years ago for exactly what you describe, It triggered off a ” What do I need all this high-tech nonsense on my other bike ( a transition Bandit ) for, when this rides this good ??…..” train of thought. The Inbred is now my only bike, still ridged and single speed. I ride it every where and love it. Buying it has saved me a fortune over the last few years.
Buy one and revel in the glory 😉 A cooker will probably be just as good. I haven’t been much help there have I……..

@nimo fully love what you are saying. so i plummed for the cooker. most basic reason being that the thing will be built up and then i can customise it over time. cheers all for the opinions. next bike will be an inbred!
