I just ordered a set of these

And I currently have Panaracer Fire XC Pro kevlar 2.1 tyres in RED.

From a purely aesthetic point of view, do you think they will look ok? 😯

I'd be more worried about changing them because they're crap tyres.

They'll look fine, unless you have a red bike and they clash badly.

No red bike, natural carbon frame, with a few red anodised bits and bobs.

I never really had any problems with them, what would you suggest as a replacement?

I was looking at Nobby Nic Evo 2.1's

here we go with another tyre thread!!

They're not light for an XC tyre @ 580g claimed, often more. If What MTB called them light they are morons IMO. 2.4" Racing Ralphs weigh less.

They're not grippy or big for a heavy tyre either.

Nics would be a good choice, some people seem to find them fragile, never had an issue personally.

Yeah i do agree about the weight I think mine are 616g each.

Mine are hardly worn, but I guess I wont be selling them on the classifieds here then? 😀

They seem to have a large following, just not seen the fuss myself. 616g is positively heavy for a small 2.1" XC tyre, not even 'not light.'

FPC gwok at your service maaammm, coloured tyres just can't be rocking it in any situation… surely? regardless of rims…
