  • changing pads on bb5 brakes……help

    push the new pads in from the front, until the tabs come all the way out of the back, then slide the clip inbetween the pads from the back, until it clicks into place.

    is that it?

    seems far to easy, and a bit loose/rattly

    Did my BB7’s the other day & had to do it the other way round, put the clip in the back first, then the pads click into the clip. If that makes any sense…

    the clip on a bb5 works in a different way to a bb7.
    bb7 are easy to do. these don’t seem to go in right.

    When I changed mine they rattled a bit. Ended up having to put the old clip back in and that fixed it.

    Take clip out and splay it slighty. Just stopped jaynes rattling doing that
