I have got a fixed/free track hub with what looks like sealed bearings in each side. It had two nuts on the axle at each side which I’ve removed, do I now just wallop the axle until it comes out? Is it likely to push one of the bearings out the other side? I know it’s hard to say without knowing what type of hub it is. It seems pretty well stuck in so I suspect the axle has a fatter middle section which means the bearings must be pushed out.

    Cheers
