    Wise people,

    My bike has a Shimano external bearing BB. Do manufacturers other than shimano make cranksets that will fit them (same axle width and length I guess) or am I stuck with shimano?

    Raceface are HTII compatible AFAIK, Truvativ use the GXP system and are NOT compatible

    Pretty much anything will fit, except SRAM/Truvativ. Take your pick from:

    Shimano
    Race Face
    Hope
    Chris King
    Superstar
    Acros

    etc etc
