I want to replace my chainrings. Currently using Deore middle 36t and an XT inner 22t on an XT M770 double’n’bash conversion. I want to run slick shifting 10 speed setup, so what would you recommend. I’m after light, decent wear rates, but most important is shift with a 10 speed chain. Happy to stay with current gearing, although I may put a 24t inner on instead of the 22t. Not all that bothered about looks, as the middle ring is covered by the bash. It’s for a SOul if that makes any difference.

Quick google throws up Blackspire Super Pro, Middleburn Hardcoat, TA CHinook.

Which would folk recommend, and why?

    Any to avoid?

    Any other suggestions?

I used blackspire rings to replace my worn XT on the old bike and they were excellent.

Yes I saw those, but the Soul won’t run a 38 without fouling the chainstay I don’t think.
