  • Chainring bolts – what material/grease/torque?

Got a 30t chainring to fit, so it’s threaded rather than needing both parts of the bolts. I’ve got steel or alloy bolts, grease or anti-seize, and a torque wrench. Which to use?

I would go with anti seize and my own judgement. History may prove the torque wrench to be a better choice.

Steel, anti-seize, torque wrench (approx torque value ranges)
