I'm after the above (some really do 30 tooth) preferably blue but black might do at a push. I can't seem to find any in stock anywhere except the crazily priced ones anyway (usual online guys). There doesn't seem to be many 32's kicking around. It's for an XT Hollowtech crankset, 140mm. Any one got any ideas ??

AFAIK the reason you don't get many 30t rings is because they won't fit the middle position of a triple.

The only 30t 'middle' ring out there is the Extralite Octaramp, you should be able to find TA Chinook inner 30t rings though, or any shop can get them in via Chickens.

The problem with a 30t middle ring is that the chain will ride on the spider. To use the Extralite one you have to file a 45 degree angle on the spider, so the chain clears it.

As I said you can mount a 30t inner though, and TA, among others do them.
