  • Chain clicking with Chain Guide, any ideas?

    Hi there,
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions…

Just out today on my chameleon new build, which was great 🙂

On the way back I noticed a clicking when in the big ring on front (running an SLX double with a blackspire stinger double chain guide). Its very (very!) annoying to say the least and gets quite loud.
Anyways, I put it up on the stand and one of the teeth seems to be a bit "sticky" as the chain comes off the big ring.
Pretty sure its not a stiff link as it "seems" to be different links and seems to be the same tooth (not absolutely 100% sure). I don't think it would be a problem but for chain guide wrapping the chain around the big ring that bit more. For the life of me though. the tooth doesn't look bent and doesn't look any more or less worn than any other tooth, – there doesn't seem to be anything remarkable about it really apart from this behaviour.
It's a completely new drive train after just this one outing (so would have seen its first bit of wear).
    Anyone with any ideas?
Maybe I should just ignore it and it will go away with a little more use….

    Cheers…
