    Hello,

The issue is hard to explain, but ill have a go. Relatively new everything with about 100 miles use. While pedaling normally down the flat street the chain feels as though it is rubbing/grinding on something but I’ve gone through all the obvious checks like if it is going through the rear mech right, it shifts gears nice, the chain ring isn’t worn and all the drivetrain in clean and oiled. It started after about the second ride from new. Under closer inspection I can see when the chain leaves the cassette on some links it kind of jumps giving the feeling.
    Its a 1×10 setup

Any suggestions or is it a new chain and cassette.

    Cheers dave

Jumps sideways towards the next sprocket? Mech or cable needs adjustment. Or your mech hanger isn’t straight.

Jumps up away from the teeth of the sprocket whilst holding in line? Check for stiff links in the chain.

Its kind of like chain suck on a cassette. I does it every 3rd or 4th link. Definitely not stiff links. Adjusted plenty to no fix and mech hanger is straight.
