I have recently aquired a pair of 717's on 2003 xtr hubs, i am thinking of using them as my buzzing around town wheels as they have nice thin tyres on them, i am currently running a pair of crossmax XL's the problem i have is that one pair are centre lock and the other pair are 6 bolt, i know u can get adaptors from CL to 6 bolt but are the disks going to line up perfek with the caliper when i swap over the wheels i have a pair of old hope minis (the silver ones)

if i am going to have to use shims i'd rather sell them!
anyone have any advise, it would be much apreciated

It's unlikely they'll be exactly the same. You can get shims but it's a faff.

Buy some centreloc discs then space out the 6 bolt set to match up.
