    Yo all,

I’ve just installed a swann cctv dvr recorder, networked it to my router, set up a dyndns account to bypass the dynamic ip issue but I cant see the cam picture using the swann android app or another cam app I tried. I’ve tried all combos of ips, ports and stuff but cant get a picture, even though the app says I’m connected to the right port.

I can access the cams fine using internal or external ips on my pc.
    Help pleeease?

    Yay, another unanswered thread.

Must be typing polish or something.

Your typing in IT on a cycle forum, what exactly did you expect?

TBH, it’s a bit of a niche question. I’d be tempted to raise it directly with Swann’s tech support. Are there any prerequisites for the app to work (eg, Flash)? Is there a web browser interface?

My somewhat limited experience of trying to talk to CCTV systems is that they’re dripping in proprietary formats and a law unto themselves.
