May have the option of swapping my Pushed RP23 for a coil CCDB and wondered if it was worth it on my Alpine 160. Any advice?

Basically my bro isn’t getting on with his CCDB but likes how my shock rides so it might be a swap. I’m pretty confident I can set up the CCDB how I want it but I just wondered if the extra weight was worth it. I’ll mainly be riding DH and XC on it, but I only ride up for fitness and to get to the descents

PS I am 95% happy with the RP23 at present but like things I can fettle and tweak with to get running sweet whereas the RP23 is pretty much how I want it.

Is the spring the right weight for you? Might have to factor in a new one if you’re heavier/lighter than your brother.

As he’s not getting on with it, maybe he’s got the wrong spring on there as it is?!

I went the other way on my Patriot – dumped 1.5 pounds of weight by going to an RP23 BV from a CCDB and never really missed the coil, even in the Alps.
