I’ve got the change to get a reasonably priced CCDB coil for my prophet. Only issue is that its 200mm x 57mm and the last time I tried a 200mm x 57mm stroke shock on it the tyre buzzed on the seatpost.

I know the damping is quite advanced on the CCDB so will it ramp up enough to stop the over travel and tyre buzzing on the frame?

    Thanks

I know with other coil shocks the only difference between the 50 & 57mm stroke is an added bump stop on the shaft. Maybe try talking to the service centre about getting it changed? Might not be too expensive?
Otherwise I believe ppl do run 57mm stroke on Prophets in the XC suspension setting, without much tyre interference.
Personally I’d look at changelng the stroke over that 😉

i ran a 57mm on my proph, no real bother all the tyre did is wear a marginal flat bit on the back of seat tube. you dont even notice…cheers
