That’s one for lunchtime drooling & dreaming at work on the big CAD screen at work.
    Simply brilliant.

Pretty boring really, wheres all the words. Poor roads, bad weather, endless hills, nowhere to get a shower or a cup of coffee, and worst of all no malls.
I mean whats a man to do. Really everyone, dont go there you’ll hate it.

Grass needs cutting in some of those shots, and he didn’t put his chain on the big ring when photographing his bike.

    AMATEUR!

That pretty much looks like a perfect ride. Not jealous or feeling inadequate in any way.

    Haha, great!

I trekked the Lares trek in Peru in 2009 and visited Huarez too. It’s a great country and some of the best scenery I’ve ever seen. I would absolutely love to retrace those steps I took, but now I’ve discovered biking I’d love to be on a bike instead!

Awesome – I came on here to hide from this kind of temptation/torment after you posted it in BB’s McMoonter!

Now ive seen it twice it must be a sign – that I really must go . . Now for the plan- sell kids and buy a plane ticket 🙂

    Thanks for the enthusiasm.

It was an epic ride, in the real sense of the word. Definite echoes of Scotland. We weren’t able to ride the last week of our intended route, due to mud and storms so late in the season. Hope to return at some point and finish it off.

Andesbybike.com will have the gpx file up soon, in case anyone is interested…
