I’ve ridden in the bike park at Cauterets, not really got much else to compare it to (never ridden in Alps, but have in Whistler). It was a bit of fun for a day or so (I was on a Soul so not especially well equipped). As well as the runs from the lifts there was a some reasonable singletrack all the way back down in to the town I found to. I was only there for a couple of days and with the family so not really riding all day.
Im back in the area again this year and interested to hear if anyone has found other good riding around Cauterets and Luz Saint Sauveur – ideally easy to find and access singletrack, not all day rides, but something I can do in 2-3 hours.
