    Hi. Recently acquired a new LapTop, running Vista 32bit, SP1.

    I have tried to install Catia V5 r18, but to no avail.

    Is anyone running either Catia V5 r16/r18 on a Vista 32bit machine ?.

    It is not supported, it works on Vista x64 but not 32bit. Minimum version for support on vista is v5r18 sp4.

    From IBM,

    Support for Windows Vista x64 Enterprise Edition was introduced in CATIA V5R18 Service Pack 4, available in March 2008. Details on this support are provided in the Program Directory for CATIA V5R18 SP4.

    You need to get hold of a copy of V5R19. It runs fine on my laptop.
