What are the most common road and mountain bike cassette ratios?

    10spd and 9 spd?

Why do you want to know what’s most common?
no doubt some prat will have already asked folk to list their cassette ratios on here.

I do love some of the useful answers on here.

9 speed MTB are normally 11-32 or 11-34. 10 speed tend to be 11-36.

In road the best sellers tend to be 12-25 or 12-27 in 9 speed but with compacts becoming more common people are using 11T bottom ends a lot more.

    Haha, GW is absolutely correct.

For example, the group of friends I road ride with, one has a 11-23, another a 12-25, another 12-27 and I have an 11-28. So Mister P’s response doesnt really tally up with that.
