    Help!

I’ve bought some Chinese Carbon 29er rims, and got some Nobbly nics to go on them, they were tight getting them on but i’ve only managed one side, i just cannot get the other side on.

I now need to take them off but they are so tight that i cant get them off with brute force alone and i don’t want to use a tire lever for fear of damagibg the rim. Any suggestions for getting the tire off with put cutting it?

    Use a tyre lever
Whats the point of a rim you cant use a tyre lever on

I have a pair of light bicycle rims and have used plastic leavers without issue and have found tyres to be a tight fit.

Have you tried putting washing up liquid on the bead? It may also help to leave the wheel/tyre in a warm place (by a radiator) for a while to soften the tyre a little.

    Hope that helps.
